Freshman Development and Special Student Services

For many new college students, freshman year can be an exciting and daunting experience. Duquesne offers a number of programs to help ease the transition:

Academic Performance

The director also advises Phi Eta Sigma (Freshman Honor Society) which is a national honor society for freshman students who display superior academic ability (GPA 3.5 or higher) and performance.

The Office of Freshman Development also monitors freshman grades and assists freshmen with finding tutors when needed.
